Come and experience the magic of casting precious metals into gorgeous pieces of meaningful jewellery. (No previous experience needed).
We will spend the 3 days exploring a range of casting techniques such as Cuttlefish Casting and Delft Clay, as well as stone setting and wax carving. All materials will be provided, and silver or gold can be purchased here at the workshop. You may also want to bring along your no-longer worn jewellery and learn to melt it down and create a new beautiful piece(s). Techniques covered: Delft clay casting, Cuttlefish Casting, Sprue making, wax carving, soldering, polishing, stone setting.
The course will run Monday- Wednesday 10-4pm with a 45min Lunch-break where you can refreshments and nibbles to keep you energised.
